Choosing the perfect Indonesian islands to explore is always a daunting task – the world’s largest archipelago is blessed with wild nature, both above and below water, wonderful culinary and pristine paradises, and so many destinations not to be missed probably take years to see it all. However, if there was one Indonesian island that all first-time visitors should see – aside from fascinating Bali, of course – it would be Komodo. The island is part of the East Nusa Tenggara region of Indonesia, one of the top sailing and cruise destinations in the country. Komodo is known worldwide for being home to the Komodo dragons, the largest lizard in the world that measures up to three meters and weighs 150 kilos. Visiting the dragons is a must in Komodo. Other fun activities include hiking to the nearby Padar Island for breathtaking views of three beaches of different colors and swimming on Komodo’s Pink Beach. If you don’t go underwater, however, you’ve only had half the fun – Komodo is a stunning diving destination with excellent opportunities to see manta rays and turtles, and if you are not certified you can opt to snorkel. You can’t miss Komodo on your next trip to Indonesia! Keep browsing our offers to find out more!
